A stoep

A stoep is a kind of a veranda attached a house or a shed. For those of us who have on this is where we sit. A space between home and the world, between the inside and the outside.
Where you can watch the days change into night, where you can hear the birds sing in the summer and feel the seasons pass.

A place where you can belong.

Keep your eyes open then you belong wherever you go

Do not complicate anything.  Just give yourself to this world moment by moment by moment and you will find that you are never separate from you true home.

Having trouble with rats on the allotment. They are eating my crops. I have caught 3 so far on the plot.
